Yesterday we had our second Community Lunch as part of the Welcoming Spaces we are now offering. 22 members of the community came together and shared a meal of Garden Greens Soup, made from vegetables grown by our garden team and cooked by our chef Holly.
After lunch, The Reader came in to run a taster session of shared reading (they run a reading group here on a Friday between 12 and 1.30 - all welcome!) and Michelle's surprise apple crumble was served with clotted cream for dessert. The apples were all donated from kind neighbours and volunteers.
